Saying Hi To A Deer Friend

Our morning walk yesterday got a little exciting for Hu-Dad when we ran into a deer friend.

During our afternoon walks, we see many others out enjoying the neighborhood greenway. The mornings, however, tend to be much quieter since we go earlier than many, particularly on the weekends. Imagine how quiet the neighborhood was then when we came around the corner and saw a deer friend. And, no, that wasn’t a misspelling.

Our 2 know which trail the deer usually hang out on and try to visit them frequently. The deer must be used to the intrusions since they check us out just as much. We also come across some wild turkey which blows their minds. Gotta love nature!

Juno would always freeze to watch the occasional horse, alpaca, goat or deer and elk. She was fascinated by larger animals.

How did you manage to hold the dogs and get a photo? That’s what I find amazing.
