As the elder statesman of The Herd, Frankie Suave called a timeout from our walk because those youngsters were going too fast.

We walk twice a day for a total of a little over five miles. Those youngsters in The Herd can put on a fast pace some days, so the elder statesman, Frankie Suave, has the right to call a timeout. Since he’s been with us for almost a decade, he’s probably 12 + or -, so he’s earned the right. Don’t worry, though, he keeps those youngsters in line every day too.

Love that boy. You call it when you want to handsome.
Frankie is smart to preserve his strength. Rebel knows how he feels because Rebel is celebrating his 12th birthday today. Love Siberians of all ages, but there is something special about the wonderful seniors.
Happy Birthday Rebel!! Seniors rock.
Thank you.
Any Senior (Husky or Human) who goes 5 miles a day does deserve a rest!! On the other hand a Husky like Ruby (female) stops at every tree, bush and hummock to take a pee. Such is life with the waging tails..
I’m glad that although Frankie Suave is the senior member of the Herd he is still respected by his younger brothers! For him to be able to walk those 5 miles is wonderful-even if a rest is needed during that time! Good job Frankie.
