Pesky Morning Ritual

The Little Prince will always demand to do things his own way and this pesky morning ritual is a great example.

Why are you grumbling over there, Hu-Dad?
Why are you grumbling over there, Hu-Dad?

As part of our predictable routine every day, we start with a run out to the yard before coming back inside and getting ready for our morning walk. All we have to do is go out the bedroom door, down the steps, and into the yard. The Little Prince, however, must always resist every human wish. How does he do that with such a simple task?

Quit your yapping, Hu-Dad. I'm coming.
Quit your yapping, Hu-Dad. I’m coming.

Our bedroom door is right beside the photographer. So is the flight of steps down to the yard. For safety’s sake, we have a gate to keep the humans securely on the deck when we can’t supervise them, so Hu-Dad has to hold that open while we exit.

So, of course, Typhoon doesn’t just exit the bedroom and go down the steps. First, he must circle the entire deck and sniff all the corners before going down. He says “technically” that complies with the command to go to the yard.

You’re doing a good job holding that gate open, Hu-Dad

    Subject .. commands

I have been contacted by my clients regarding this command regiment you are attempting to institute. Please be advised it is genetically impossible for a Husky to do “commands”. Suggestions can be considered with proper rewards.

It is our hope that my clients concerns can be immediately addressed so that we can all move forward in a positive manner.

In the interim, the Prince has been emotionally damaged as he was doing his best to protect his pact without just compensation. We feel a steak would make him whole at this time.

    Respectfully

The Little prince wants to be sure the deck is all clear.

Got to make sure the smells do not indicate critters breached the perimeter-that is at least what my dogs say. Haha

I have to agree-COMMAND is NOT a word Sibes pay attention to. Typhoon DOES have his duty though to make sure no security breaks!!

Silly humans ! The Little Prince has to make sure no invasion has taken place overnight! Channeling the Chief of Security???

Silly human…. “command” and Siberian Huskiy are mutually exclusive words!
