Best Buddy Pursuits

With the glee obvious on their faces, Roscoe and Typhoon engage in their best buddy pursuits numerous times a day.

This may be hard to believe, especially for those of you who have followed us for a long time, but Typhoon will be turning nine this winter. The puppy who used to be able to jump eight feet straight up in the air and outrun rabbits in the yard doesn’t quite have the same speed and bounce he once had.

What the little curmudgeon does have, though, is a best pal to race and play with. Roscoe might be a step faster, but they are the best of friends.

Typhoon, you’re a senior dog! My goodness, when did that happen?

W-O-W!!!! As the saying goes, the days are long but the years are short… So true!! Sweet Typhoon. Hard to believe he is 9.

What are the ages of the rest of them now?

You’d never guess it. No rabbits in SC for the nine year old ?

I hope they all live long lives. Juno was nine, seven and a half years ago. I had to let her go on Monday the 19th. Treasure every day. They are fleeting.

Thank you. I see her in Landon. Their faces so closely resemble each other.

      Hi Juno’s Mom!
I was very sad to see your message today about saying goodbye (for now) to your beautiful friend.
My Rory is 10+1/2 years old now and she is really slowing down.
It sounds like Juno had a long and wonderful life with you by her side.My heart and thoughts go out to you today❤️

Our boy is almost 9 too and wish we had another sibe for him to run with. He odes have a hound mix sister BUT she doesn’t seem to want to entice him to play. I have said it before but Hu-Dad you really picked a good match when you adopted Roscoe! Typhoon is the the best 9 year old runner for sure!
