Stretching the Weekend

Last week, we had a holiday that made for a longer break, so Roscoe thought he would try again stretching the weekend.

Yes, these photos are different than yesterday
Yes, these photos are different than yesterday

In the boys’ defense, we would like to clarify today’s photos are not the same as yesterday’s. If you go back and look, these two are in totally different positions. Ok, mostly different positions. Really, this is from a different day.

So now it’s Friday and we need to do something totally different for the weekend. Who knows? Maybe we will go really wild and switch positions again.

Enough stretching. Time for a nap.

September 11

Nineteen years ago today, horror descended on the world in one of the most heinous acts ever committed on innocent victims. We will never forget.

We will never forget the 2,977 innocent human beings who were killed by 19 murderers.

We will never forget the fact that 373 of those victims were from 58 countries other than the United States.

We will never forget that 31 of those innocent victims were Muslim (not including the murderers).

We will never forget the 8 children killed that day, the youngest only 2 1/2 years old.

We will never forget the 343 firefighters and 63 law enforcement officers who lost their lives trying to save others. Nor will we forget those who battle to this day ailments brought on by their bravery and those who have lost their battles.

We will never forget the 55 military members and 70 civilians killed at the Pentagon. We will never forget the ones who have given their lives since protecting us from evil people

We will never forget.

What an amazing tribute and I applaud Terry + Rory for adding those brave individuals in Shankville, PA who are also heroes. Prayers for those who still suffer from the after affects and are here to carry on with their loved ones.
On the upside today’s post is what each one of us needs to remember to do before tacking a difficult task! Tee-hee
