When it comes to sticks and stones, possession might be the only canine law that matters…once a stick is declared important.

It's mine...all mine.
It’s mine…all mine.

A stick has been in the yard for over a week. Hu-Dad has spotted it over and over, but decided it was unimportant. And it was…until Roscoe picked it up and ran around the yard with it.

Chew. Gnaw. Crack.
Chew. Gnaw. Crack.

The instant Roscoe decided to play with the stick, His Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey decided the stick was his. He claimed it and refused to let anyone else near. Thus the first canine law…nothing is important until it is important and then it is the most important thing around…until the next thing is declared important.

Still important. And still mine.
Still important. And still mine.

P.S. – We wish our Hu-Dad a happy birthday. He is eleventy-seven bazillions years old, but we still taking him walking twice a day.
