Some of us are quite good at masking our mischievous plans. And then there are the Boom Boom launch preparations which hide nothing.

Landon’s biggest challenge is his sheer enthusiasm for everything, including stirring up mischief. One would think the body language could be a wee bit more subtle.

That big bushy tail gives him away even when he is hiding (since all the Hu-Dad can see is a giant tail sticking up and moving vigorously). And, in this case, his plan for attack is obvious.

You’re waiting for it, aren’t you? The pounce? The strike? Okay, fine, here you go.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend
June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.
A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.
