Boom Boom Monday

We ended last week’s posts talking about Landon’s attempts to start an early weekend, so now we should mention a Boom Boom Monday.

Did you have a good weekend?
Did you have a good weekend?

We would like to tell you all about our fabulous weekend adventure…but we suspect it sounds a lot like your weekend adventure. We hung around the house. Took a bunch of walks. And did the same thing we do every other day of the week during this strange period.

Only the pesky squirrels seem to be out in the neighborhood
Only the pesky squirrels seem to be out in the neighborhood

We hate to tell you humans this but…we love weekends like this. We got to spend every minute with our humans and they catered to our every need. Sounds like a good thing to us.

P.S. You might notice things look slightly different on our website. Our Hu-Dad can be quite disruptive when he gets bored and he decided to reprogram pieces of our website. It’s not just looks, but the comment section becomes more conversational with the ability to upvote favorite comments and to reply (posters will get notified via email they have a reply waiting). Let us know of any issues you spot and we will yell at the Hu-Dad to fix it.

Great photo Boom! Those soulful eyes! Glad you had a Squirrely weekend! We were busy hunting Chipmunks. Found Theodore, Alvin and Simon are still MIA! We’ll let you know when to “Arooooo” at Hu Dad about any changes we find pawsitively unacceptable!???? Stay well…and chase on!????

Love the new format! Whoo-Hoo agree, Landon! Love that there are more humans for the ‘I want in and I want out” game that I love to play everyday…even in the rain!

Since we are in the process of reading all the past posts from lots of years past, it is easier if the tab on the bottom that linked the next article was still there so we could reach each day by day. Otherwise this will be a long process trying to figure out day to day articles from years past?

Excellent suggestion. We will woo at the Hu-Dad to get that done.

This is more interactive. Great idea since we can’t interact as we had been doing in our lives. (These times will pass.)

it’s unanimous! the new look is a keeper!
can’t keep a creative person under wraps for very long.
time to start a new novel Hu-Dad!
I also love for my Mondays to start with Boom Boom’s beautiful eyes and smile!
dogs of any kind just make it all better. xo

Love that face! I’m fortunate to be able to work from home (yay paycheck), but the fur-kids are not going to be happy when life returns to normal and I’m not here all day. It’s actually quite nice working with a big furry dog lying on my feet all day!

I love the new look too. And also like my Monday to start with Boom Boom’s beautiful eyes. Happy Monday!

  10. DJ and Maggie on April 6, 2020 at 8:33 am

Love the new format! Our Maggie is loving all the extra attention these days! She also loves the squirrels, bunnies and turkeys that come into our yard! We scan the yard first before letting her out. There is also a sneaky black cat that sits on our porch taunting Maggie through the storm door! Stay well!

  11. Debbie & Ruby on April 6, 2020 at 8:26 am

I like the new format also. This is a very boring time for all of us. I only have 2 parks that are open for Ruby to walk in and we have to drive 5 miles to each. At least we are still able to get out. Better days will come again!!

  12. HokiePack on April 6, 2020 at 8:05 am

Like the new format! The HokiePack is loving all the attention. The Humans are bored and have started many (too many) projects!!

Hu-Dad I love the new look and I just KNOW the Herd is enjoying all the extra attention because they can never get enough-lol. Boom Boom seems to be SO interested in the squirrels! Stay safe and well all.
