A gentle walk, a Herd of Siberians, and a glorious morning all come together for a Sauntering Siberian Sunrise (and one sleepy Frankie).

Clear blue skies, calm winds, and a gorgeous sunrise over the marsh. What more could anyone ask for? How about mixing in a Herd of sauntering Siberian Huskies?

When we last posted photos of our visit to the beach of Oyster Landing, someone asked if Miss Cheesy comes on those walks. She joins us for our morning two-mile walk, but sleeps in for the afternoon three-miler. So, yes, if the morning goes to the beach, she is there.

Not everyone is quite the morning dog. Frankie Suave enjoys his sleeping time too and isn’t the most enthusiastic canine seeing the sunrise.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend
June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.
A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.
Don’t forget second breakfast Frankie!!
…and no snow! Isn’t it wonderful living at the beach! ????
Frankie I agree with you. I am not a morning person either and prefer the sunsets to the sunrises. Love the expression.
It’s got to be so peaceful at that time in the morning. The sunrise must really light up Cheesy’s red fur.
Wow Hu-Dad those photos are wonderful. I love that all the sibes act so differently on their morning walk! Miss Cheesy DOES look very happy with the beautiful sunrise! Also Roscoe enjoying the view AND wanting the seagull to come MUCH closer-lol I am envious the 2 and 3 mile walks!
So happy to see my favorite fluffy girl. Thanks for sharing her.
