Things Are Looking Up

Our intrepid hunters treed a squirrel during yesterday morning’s walk and then spent time looking up and begging the creature to come down and play.

That squirrel up there is calling us all sorts of names.
That squirrel up there is calling us all sorts of names.

Squirrels are everywhere during our walks and distract us. Plus, they are really fast and can climb trees, something we haven’t figured out how to do yet. Though not for lack of trying.

I can almost reach it.
I can almost reach it.

After a few minutes trying to persuade the squirrel to come down and play, Hu-Dad suggested we should give up and resume our walk. That hint was not well received.

He has to come down some time, Hu-Dad.

WHY do dogs LOVE to chase squirrels (and bunnies and other assorted creatures?) I am laughing seeing them TRYING to make you wait for the squirrels to come down Hu-Dad!! I guess the walk resumed because you are submitting yet another post for us to enjoy. Have a great weekend!
