With shorter and shorter days, the light is fading earlier and earlier causing lots of night time photos like these of an evening Boom Boom.
As the sun sets earlier every day, Hu-Dad can often get to the end of light before he realizes he hasn’t captured photos for the next day’s blog. For example, trying to capture photos of an evening Boom Boom with very little light.
Of course, Landon was also demanding overtime payment in treats because he was being asked to work so late in the day. When Hu-Dad tried to explain that it wasn’t really that late, Landon expressed his surprise.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
From Sabo Attorney at Paw

Subject: oppressive working conditions
I have been contacted by my client regarding oppressive working conditions, failure to adhere to the wage and hour standards that are codified and enforceable on both a State and Federal Level.
Please be advised that fair wage and hours are not subject to loose interpretation of the employer in order to avoid overtime payments. “Not too late” does not discount the fact that it was late, this is not a sliding scale of employer convenience but instead a measurement of adequate pay for the employee.
My client has graciously offered a settlement of the amount of overtime he was denied, for plus treble punitive damages and, of course, attorney’s fees.
It is my sincere hope we can settle this in an amicable manner and that no further action is necessary
I await your timely response
Respectfully
Sabo the German Shepherd, Attorney at Paw
