As Landon studies the backyard and the swimming pool, he is questioning human logic. Why would anyone get into that thing?
Each member of The Herd has reacted differently to the pool, though none have shown any interest in getting in. The closest has been Typhoon who has wanted to touch it, but just out of curiosity. Boom Boom, however, seems downright horrified that such a thing exists and that the humans get into it.
Based on his reaction so far, we don’t see him doing any laps around the pool. And he would prefer it if the humans would stop getting into it too.

Dunkin thinks his Sibe cousins are dog-gone crazy! He says it’s hot as bejeezus and they need to get their fuzzy butts in there if they know what’s good for ‘em!
He’ll gladly show ‘em how to do it over and over and over and over and over…. well, you get the idea.
Then there’s nothing like the beach towel rub down afterwards. Dunkin says that humans serve as towels too and that’s amazing!!!
Neither our greyhound or Cocker spaniel would DREAM of getting in the pool. They both avoid it with clear disdain. We used to have a lab and a golden who were the exact opposite, but fortunately we didn’t have a pool at that point. You’ll find one of the Herd, now or in the future, who thinks the water is just great — and if he/she can persuade the rest, you may be glad you’re building a stout fence around the pool to keep unwanted furry swimmers out!
Lol, my husky mix Zeus would have been in that thing in a hot minute!!! He loved the water.
We can’t keep our huskies OUT of the pool!
Sorry Boom Boom-I don’t think the humans will listen to you. Humans actually LIKE to be in that pool-lol!
