We Siberian Huskies can pretend to be quite the sophisticated breed when we want to, but Hayseed Roscoe shows our simple roots.
We were sprawled in the yard enjoying the sun and marsh breezes when Roscoe snatched a piece of crabgrass from the yard. He enjoyed chewing on it so much that Hu-Dad was reminded of the simple pleasure of chewing on a blade of grass.
And if you haven’t enjoyed the simple pleasures of chewing on some grass while the breeze rustles over you, get out of the city and have some fun. Or be Typhoon and roll your eyes at these things.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
One end of the decorum scale to the other!! ???????? Leave it it your boys!!????
Must be the southern roots!! My crazy girl from Virginia does the same thing, gotta love them..
It’s obvious that Roscoe is one happy kid; good balance for the ever serious Typhoon.
Yes, it’s fun to watch Roscoe entice Typhoon into games. Roscoe is so persistent that the Little Prince can’t help but just play.
Hu-Dad you have captured “hayseed” Roscoe’s enjoyment of chewing on grass and also Typhoon’s disdain of that simple act-lol Love this post so much!!!
