Resting Up For Independence Day

Frankie is conserving energy and resting up for the big Independence Day holiday. We hope you have a terrific and safe day.

Frankie Suave is getting ready for Independence Day.

Frankie Suave is not a big fan of loud noises like thunderstorms, fighter jets, or fireworks. Fortunately, we only have to deal with the first two. Since we don’t have too many neighbors close to us, we rarely have to deal with the fireworks that everyone has.

Still saving energy in case something exciting happens.

Hu-Dad will probably spend a couple of hours writing and we will stay at the house to avoid the crowds that have gathered in the valley for the holiday week, so the day will be pretty much like any other day to us. We hope that you get to do exactly what you want to do, whether that is enjoy peace and quiet, enjoying family time, or gathering with others to watch professional fireworks. Whatever you do, stay safe and have fun.

Meanwhile, Frankie Suave will be right here resting up.

Have a great holiday! We will see you Friday.

Yes! I’m going to advise my SC “snow bird” neighbors “we do not need any forest wildfires set by their dumb fireworks next to the Pisgah Nat Forest and Blue Ridge Parkway greenery!

Frankie has “conserving energy” down to a fine science!! Good job!!

I don’t blame you Frankie, I don’t like fireworks much either. Only our one dog Chance gets a little skittish with them and all it takes is some snuggle time through the booms for him to make it through.

    Enjoy the holiday!

(hope the book is going well!)

Frankie we agree with you. No loud noises for our pets and veterans. I have seen some signs saying “please respect the veterans and the noise -some of them have ptsd”.

Have a wonderful 4th. I wish that I could send Amarok to visit you, Frankie! He hates thunderstorms and fireworks . . . and that’s what we will have (and have been having) in Chicago. Looking forward to the next update.

Frankie Suave is doing just what I want to do for the 4TH! In years past we haven’t had any fireworks near us and hope that continues for our dogs sake! Have a great holiday Hu-Dad and the Sibe Tribe! See you Friday.
