Lightning Strike

Sorry, no post today due to a lightning strike. The good news is that we are all fine though Frankie did not like the really loud KABOOM.

The bad news is we have several things not working including the internet. Hu-Dad is mumbling something about insurance adjusters and we are being invaded today with a small army of repair technicians getting our well working.

So, sorry, but Hu-Dad had to sit outside to type this little bit of news with a phone tethered to his laptop. We will post more when we can.

But, again, we are thankful that everyone is okay.

so glad you’re all safe. proof of just how powerful those strikes can be!

Ufff feel for you. We took a direct hit from lighting, many years ago, that fried our solar hot water, never worked since!! For sure you guys have better people on the case than ourselves. Hoping Frankie is okay after the loud kaboom.

    Best wishes from us

Goodness that is stressful for both Hu-Dad and the fur babies especially poor Frankie. Our two are not fans of thunder and lightning or those loud unexpected sounds.
    Stay safe!

So glad everyone is safe. Someday, we don’t know when, the bad weather will stop.

I would be mumbling too. It is amazing how much we depend on things to work like a well and the internet. As long as everyone is safe, that is the main thing. Heat lightning is prettier since it does not make any noise that can be heard.

Wow…so glad everyone is ok…but poor Frankie! He must have been freaked out for hours.

After reading your facebook posts, I see you’re dealing with a lot of issues after the strike. Hope it’s not as serious as you fear and life gets back to normal quickly.

So thankful that every one is okay. And Amarok sends big comforting woos to Frankie. He completely understands because he too hates those big booms (storms, fireworks, loud cars . . .) Looking forward to updates.

Wow-I am SO glad no one is hurt. Lightning strikes are very scary and poor Frankie. I am so glad you were able to post so we all were alerted to that force of nature. Poor Sibes today(and Hu-Dad)with all the people coming in and out today-sigh!
