Awesome Lazy Long Weekend

With our first break in daily posting in years, you would think we did lots of exciting things. Nope, just a lazy long weekend here at Chez Herd.

Living in a tourist town, we know that holiday weekends tend to be crowded down in the valley. We prefer to stay up on our mountain and enjoy the quiet (not to mention, the high temperatures that stayed below 80ºF). We went for walks during the day, Hu-Dad mowed grass, and we did lots of napping.

We hope your weekend was as relaxing and peaceful. Hu-Dad is ready to reclaim his desk today and settle back into a work routine. He might need to evict a couple of squatters first.

Since Hu-Dad wasn't using his desk, Roscoe and Typhoon put the space underneath to good use.

Glad the Herd had a break…Missed the posts, but even Sibes need a “paws” once in a while. I think Boom Boom has plans for the Rabbits this week. We’ll stay tuned!

Lazy holiday weekends with little to no travel are the best! (There’s definitely a Chez Herd addiction here.)

Hu-Dad-I was so happy to hear all at Chez Herd had a wonderful relaxing weekend! I hope you were gentle-lol-when you evicted Roscoe and Typhoon from under your desk! Loved seeing Miss Cheoah and Frankie enjoying the couch as well and Landon SO intent on the sunrise and the rabbits!
