Landon may be faster than Cheoah sprinting around the yard, but her seniority gives her some sneaky games to play when she wants to win a race.
Landon, with his youth, is a much faster runner with quicker turns. In a straight race around the yard, he will always make it to the finish line first. In this case, he quickly makes a circle around her and is leading the way.
But Cheoah has long learned that the best way to beat her brothers at anything is to change the rules midstream. So while Landon curved down to run along the outer perimeter fence, Miss Cheesy angled for a quick path back to the house.
P.S. – Yes, the Hu-Dad moved after taking the above photo. His bruised knee is healing from the incident the night before.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Go Cheoh go!! You’ll always be smarter than the boys…that’s much better than speed. Speed fades…so happy to see our girl with a smile! ????
Younger ones are always good for the older ones. (That goes for us as well.) Cheoah still has the wisdom that comes with age. Love her!
Have at knee! – Landon
😛
oh Missy Cheoah! you’re so beautiful!
and gosh. I missed a whole post Hu Dad. the one where you were bull dozed by exuberance.
we’re in tornado season here and I apparently missed it by being disconcerted by sirens and such. 🙂
I hope your knee is better today! although any kind of injury always seems worse the third day. xo
Way to go, Cheoah! I love her smile of victory.
A happy smile from the senior Sibe makes my day.
Look at that beautiful, happy, smiley face Miss Cheoah ????????
It warms my heart to know Miss Cheoah looks SO happy and proud of herself! That smile would light up the sky!!! She is one very smart senior lady!
