Summer Time: A Change of Schedule

With Memorial Day a week away and summer looming, we are announcing a change of schedule for the coming months. Don’t freak out!

I can't look! I can't look!
I can’t look! I can’t look!

Did you know that we have posted nearly 4,000 times since we started this website over 11 years ago? And did you know that we have posted every single day—every day—since October 7, 2011? Every holiday, every weekend, every single day.

This sounds like more trouble than I can cause.
This sounds like more trouble than I can cause.

Well, it’s time for a change. We have decided to implement a summer schedule starting this Memorial Day weekend where we will post on non-holiday weekdays. So, yes, we will be sharing our stories Monday through Friday (except for holidays), but will be taking weekends off.

What we will be doing on the weekends instead.
What we will be doing on the weekends instead.

We know that’s a big change, but we hope you understand. Hu-Dad is pushing against deadlines to get his second novel published this summer. And, besides, readership always drops off in the summers as people take vacations.

Don't worry. You will still see plenty of us!
Don’t worry. You will still see plenty of us!

That’s right, we will continue to bring you new stories and photos five days a week (except holidays). So we hope you stick around and see who does something newsworthy next.

Why is everyone looking at me?
Why is everyone looking at me?

Movie Memory Monday

We are sure some of you have a difference of opinion about our decision to post five days a week. Just like Landon and Typhoon had a difference of opinion about the weather in this week’s Movie Memory Monday.

    Subject: new publication schedule

Hu-dad. As you know we have been long time advocates for the Sibe Tribe. I was recently contacted by my clients regarding the new publication schedule. As you know they have a very loyal fan base, and they have images to uphold in the public, and they must maintain their celebrity status. However, after consulting with my Human Servant I have advised my clients that they will suffer no loss of celebrity with this new schedule.
While I can assure you that those like my human servant, who have been fans pre Franken Couch will miss seeing you everyday, we congratulate you on your new author status.
Please rest assured we will still be at our clients disposal should the need arise.

    Respectfully
Sabo the German Shepherd, Attorney at Paw

We will miss you but you, too, deserve to have a weekend. I know our dogs don’t agree with us, but it’s true!

Looking forward to 5 days of wonderful Herd stories. I always am usually playing catch up on Monday too.
Love the stories and the faces.

5 days is still a lot! I honestly play catchup on Mondays as I am usually running around too much to read until then! 🙂

    That should say even tears.

I will miss my daily dose of your beautiful and fun Herd, but certainly understand your need for more time to do your other work. I imagine it takes considerable time each day and appreciate how long you have done it. Thanks for all the time you put into bringing us all the wonderful antics of the Herd. Sharing them with us has resulting in many smiles, laughs and seven tears. Look forward to seeing them during the week, except Holidays. Thank you.

You are awesome and so are the dogs. Our readership never drops off because we don’t take vacations (our vacations are at home with the dogs) but we understand we are not normal. This will make us look more forward to when we do get post. Yeah.

I’ve also wondered how much time you spend on these posts every day. We love them and absolutely understand the five versus seven day posting. It’ll be a reason to look forward to Mondays. 🙂

Any number of days seeing the fluffy herd makes my heart happy! So grateful that you take the time to share your beautiful furmily whenever possible ❤️

We will continue to enjoy the 5 days. If it was me I would probably only be able to do one day per week. You do a great job.
    Thanks for the entertainment.

HU-Dad I have always wondered how the heck you do it-each day-everyy day-giving us such fun with the pictures of the Herd! Of course a summer schedule sounds good and I know I will be looking forward to your next novel. I so enjoy looking at all the sibes and the differences and how you manage to catch such expressions! I enjoyed the Movie MOnday vidoe with the brother’s different reactions to the rain-lol. Keep up the great job Hu-Dad!
