We always have to celebrate a new skill learned even if the appropriate nickname for such an event is only trash collector.

The humans keep their trash in a secret compartment in the kitchen. In order to get to it, a dog would have to know how to grab the handle, slide the drawer out, and reach into the can to pull the trash out. And, if such a dog would sort the trash into the “good” stuff (tasty noms) from the “bad” stuff (boring paper), he would be legend. So imagine Hu-Dad’s surprise when he came into the kitchen and discovered a dog had managed to empty the trash can and stack piles in the kitchen.

Now, we know most of you are quite impressed, but can you imagine that Hu-Dad was not? He actually suggested I shouldn’t even be in the magic trash drawer! We really need to work on his understanding of the skills we working breed bring to the house.

I was disappointed there were not pictures of the trash separated. I love his expressions but I like works of art such as piles.
Sorry hu-dad… but, I’m impressed! ????
I find Landon to be very talented. Opening a draw without opposable thumbs? That’s very skillful! Sorry Hu Dad…Sibes can be quite messy. Next trick should be clean in messes….
Hmmm now that’s a skill of sorting out recycled objects might have to hire out as
“Woos R Us recyclables” ????❣️
Good boy! If it wasn’t meant to be sibe fodder, it wouldn’t be in the house now would it Landon!
Impressed I am Boom Boom! The various talents of the Herd never cease to amaze me, sweet pea!!
From the trash bin at home to road kill on a walk, Sibes are always up to something. That is what makes us love them!!
We had to put baby drawer clips in the trash can at our house to keep Hazel The Hound out. Smh
Oh dear! Hu-Dad is right-dogs should NOT be going into the magic drawer that contains the trash! BUT oh what a face.
