Trash Collector

We always have to celebrate a new skill learned even if the appropriate nickname for such an event is only trash collector.

Aw, shucks, such a little thing.
Aw, shucks, such a little thing.

The humans keep their trash in a secret compartment in the kitchen. In order to get to it, a dog would have to know how to grab the handle, slide the drawer out, and reach into the can to pull the trash out. And, if such a dog would sort the trash into the “good” stuff (tasty noms) from the “bad” stuff (boring paper), he would be legend. So imagine Hu-Dad’s surprise when he came into the kitchen and discovered a dog had managed to empty the trash can and stack piles in the kitchen.

I love surprising Hu-Dad with my skills.
I love surprising Hu-Dad with my skills.

Now, we know most of you are quite impressed, but can you imagine that Hu-Dad was not? He actually suggested I shouldn’t even be in the magic trash drawer! We really need to work on his understanding of the skills we working breed bring to the house.

Now are you impressed? - trash collector

I was disappointed there were not pictures of the trash separated. I love his expressions but I like works of art such as piles.

I find Landon to be very talented. Opening a draw without opposable thumbs? That’s very skillful! Sorry Hu Dad…Sibes can be quite messy. Next trick should be clean in messes….
