The Herd’s Herd Visited Again

Nothing grabs the boys’ attention quite as much as a wildlife visitor, so when The Herd’s Herd visited again, we were enthralled.

Would you look at that? (Typhoon, Landon, Frankie)

Hu-Dad was working away in his study when Typhoon stood, stretched, and glanced out the window. After a few seconds, the Little Prince’s stare attracted the others’ attention.

And what had their attention? Why a visit from one of our favorite herds in the neighborhood, besides us, of course.

The Herd's Herd of Deer.

Cheoah couldn’t be bothered. She had the couch and a fire in the fireplace. A girl has her priorities.

Roscoe and Typhoon are as close to the desk without being on it as possible.

What happened next gave Hu-Dad one of his favorite photos of the dogs he has taken in a long time. Enjoy.

It is a good thing that Hu-Dad did not want to do any work or anything!

The photos of the Herd are always gorgeous but that last photo is special. The different positions in the same photo are awesome. They are so beautiful and so engrossed in the other herd but have such different ways of inspecting the deer herd. It makes me want to be there to see them.

I love that last picture! I’m glad the boys got some excitement during a day in the study with Hu-dad. Of course, I think Cheoah has the best spot in the house, on the couch in front of the fire.

Just LOOK at their faces! The Herd really seems to be enthralled by the OTHER Herd! Yes that last picture is really amazing of Typhoon and Roscoe(although ALL are just wonderful). Don’t blame Cheesewhiz though-a couch and a fire sounds lovely!
