Roscoe ROTE

The newest member of The Herd was helping the Hu-Dad with errands in town, so we decided to call today’s story the Roscoe ROTE.

Just me and Hu-Dad
Just me and Hu-Dad

Going into town is a big deal and it doesn’t happen a lot, but Hu-Dad had a number of things he needed to get done. And Roscoe needed to get his rabies booster, so he got to travel along with the Hu-Dad. That’s why we call it the Roscoe ROTE – Running Of The Errands.

A shot? Nobody said anything about a shot.
A shot? Nobody said anything about a shot.

Roscoe took his shot like a champion and it had nothing to do with the ample amount of treats that he was consuming while the shot was happening. Let’s just say if you ask him about the shot, he doesn’t remember a thing about it.

But Roscoe wasn’t the only one going to the doctor. The Herd Limousine (aka, the Jeep) needed its annual inspection, oil change, and a few other minor tweaks. Roscoe hung out with the Hu-Dad while the work was getting it done.

Supervising the work very carefully.

After that, we picked up some office supplies (boring – no photos there) and headed home. And that’s how you ROTE.

Roscoe looks like a very happy boy in spite of having that nasty word done. Supervising work on Jeep was very important. ROTE accomplished! Good boy!!

Sometimes you just need some one on one time, and running errands was the perfect solution!

Oh my gosh your collies are gorgeous! My sister has always had collies (and is getting a new one come spring) – I see one smooth collie at the park now and again. Your pups are truly beautiful!

What a great day for Roscoe to be alone with Hu-Dad. Best part was to make sure the Jeep had the oil changed properly. Treats made up for the shot.

Roscoe-what a lucky boy you are! Going with the Hu-Dad to ROTE!! WE won’t mention the ((SSHH) shot although you were given many treats during that bad word! I bet the rest of the Herd was SO jealous of you getting to go all alone to supervise Hu-Dad to make sure all errands were done correctly! What a good boy.
