A Roscoe Thanksgiving

We wish all of our US readers the Happiest of Thanksgiving Days. We are celebrating a little Roscoe Thanksgiving here at Chez Herd.

A very Happy Roscoe Thanksgiving

A very Happy Roscoe Thanksgiving

We are celebrating one of our favorite holidays today, Thanksgiving. Why is it a favorite? Because the central celebration point is food. And more food. And even more food. What could be better than that?

Mmmmmmm - grubs.

Mmmmmmm – grubs.

Uh, Roscoe, seriously, we have good food for you. Don’t worry about the grubs.

Anyway, despite some challenges this year around Chez Herd, we have much to be thankful for including our many friends who check in on us daily here, And, of course, our newest addition.

Did someone say dinner?

Hope you all have a safe, relaxing, and thankful day.

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m looking forward to watching Roscoe blend in. Wondering if he’ll be goofy like Landon, or haughty like the Prince, Typhoon. Thank you for opening your home to another animal in need. Blessings for the holidays….????????????

Happy Thanksgiving guys! I too adore your posts and make them a daily event (usually – sometimes I get behind a little). Am still not over Roscoe’s incredible tail. I am curious for the story of his name – if he came with it and you all liked it, or renamed him. It’ll be fun to see how you mangle this one since all your dogs always end up with multiple nicknames. 🙂

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you all. This is going to be a very special Thanksgiving at our house. It will be the last one for my fur baby Bruce. I found out a week ago he has bone cancer in his right hind leg. We are going to try to wait til after the holidays before we say goodbye and send him over the Rainbow Bridge. He gets his very own plate today. Everybody please be extra thankful for your babies. You never know how they will be with you. We just thought he hurt himself and was gonna have to have surgery. This was a total shock. Even though he had hip dysplasia I thought I was going to have many more years. Hug your babies tight and give them lots of kisses. Even your humans in your life lol. God bless you all a day have a very Happy Thanksgiving. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
