Boom Boom Vet Day

We are busy at Chez Herd integrating Roscoe, our newest member, into The Herd but we also had to handle a Boom Boom Vet Day.

No one told me about Boom Boom Vet Day.

No one told me about Boom Boom Vet Day.

Landon has lived at Chez Herd just over two years now after coming from Southern Siberian Rescue, the same rescue as Roscoe. That means he has only been to our vet a couple of times and yesterday was his scheduled annual checkup. He says the best part was all of the liver treats and peanut butter.

Yes, I was very good (even with a pink bandage).

The good news is that everything checked out just fine. Let’s just say Hu-Dad was quite happy to have a routine, uneventful vet visit (and Landon agrees).

Can we go home now?

That is a lot of money for one leash but there are other inexpensive leashes that are affordable. I like fact that they are made in the US and that it states this (Sharing Helps Us Support No Kill Shelters & Wolf Conservation and Education) because we are big wolf advocates (and coyotes too-how else do you get a healthy deer population). Thanks for sharing the link.

He looks pretty happy, considering. Uneventful vet visits ARE the best! May you have many, many more.

Out of left field: Where did y’all source the leashes you use? I can’t locally find any with the swivel carabiner, nor do any outdoor (REI/Great Outdoor) stock any separate carabiners.

Brace yourself because they are expensive. Ours are here – https://mydogscool.com/store/ultimate-climbing-rope-dog-leash/ . You can also go to their home page and see lots of other leashes that are less expensive, but we like the swivel to avoid tangles and the climbing rope and carabineer for strength.

P.S. – My required by law disclosure – We have no affiliation with the company and receive no compensation from them. We purchased the product at full price (yikes).

GOOD job Boom Boom. I am so happy to hear your vet visit went very well and you liked the treats you received and even tolerated a PINK bandage!!!! You can now tell your new brother Roscoe there is nothing to fear when his turn comes up for vet day!
