Big Sis Little Bro Moment

Last night’s evening walk gave us a great big sis little bro moment and we still made it back to the house before the nightly thunderstorm hit.

A Junior Family Walk

A Junior Family Walk

Shortly after dinner, our Junior Team headed out for the nightly walk (the senior team walk comes a little later). Since Cheoah has lived here for 10 years and may have been as old as 2 1/2 when she moved in, she is considerably older than the youngest member of the Junior Team, Landon. Still, she refuses to move over to the senior team and insists on taking the longer walk every night.

Huff. Puff. Come on, guys, wait up!

As we near the end of the walk, Miss Cheoah is moving a little slower and her brothers keep pushing to go faster. Well, most of her brothers. One dropped back to walk with her…

Landon reminds me so much of our Bolt. He runs around like a crazy fool, but is ascswrrt as the day is long. His big sis is only 5, but she has hypothyroid, and a congenital hip problem. Bolt slows down so she can still “catch” him when they play. She used to dominate him, and now Volt could easily take over. Instead he yields to her. If only humans could be so empathetic…good boy Boom Boom!
