No Walk Face When Rain Interferes

Typhoon shares the official no walk face – that look the Hu-Dad gets when he tries to explain the rains are interfering with our regular walk.

The no walk face for maximum Hu-Dad guilt.

The no walk face for maximum Hu-Dad guilt.

We are getting heavy rains and will continue to get them through tomorrow. While others are worried about flooding, power outages, and other damage, we are upset our walk has been postponed. And we are masters at giving Hu-Dad guilt looks when we don’t get our way.

But I don't mind the rain.

But I don’t mind the rain.

Trying to explain to the Little Prince that the world does not revolve around him is a thankless task.

Come on, Hu-Dad, it's just rain.

Come on, Hu-Dad, it’s just rain.

He does look miffed. (I haven’t gotten the emails for the last few days. I re-subscribed, but still none. This is new.)

I am guessing the last two days. We noticed the problem yesterday and today with a significant outage of about 1/3 of our subscribers. We have been in touch with the help desk of our email newsletter provider, but they have not yet solved the problem. The newsletter is going out, but being rejected by some email providers.

Sorry. We are wooing at them.

We walk in the rain unless it is pouring. That is what an umbrella is good for unless the winds blow it away (we get those alot in Michigan here (who would figure big winds in Michigan when we are not even by Lake Michigan). But I have to admit my dogs get to walk off leash on our own 20 acres so that makes the difference between walking 6 dogs on leashes in the rain. Hu Dad might be so sweet, he actually melts in rain guys. Haha. Dogs sure have a way of making you feel bad with their looks tho.

Lol, we have the opposite problem! The collies don’t even want to go outside to potty when it’s raining….cause they might melt!

Typhoon has mastered the guilt look. In fact I’m sure he’s on the cover of “How To Train Your Humans”!. He looks like he’s starting floof….what we call shedding. He can spend the day being brushed. I can imagine what faced that would bring on!????
