Rain Shelters Or Getting Wet

As our regular afternoon thundershower rolled across the mountain ridges, we sought our rain shelters so we could avoid getting wet.

I have the best of the rain shelters - my crate on the covered porch.

This particular storm was the third of the afternoon, so we were accustomed to the drill. Games in the yard ceased. Favorite spots were occupied. And we watched the rain fall.

Hmmmm – maybe the rabbits could slip in the wet grass.

You may notice that the photographs are taken looking toward the porch. Yes, that means our Hu-Dad was standing outside – in the rain – while snapping these photographs. Who is crazy enough to hang out in the rain?

Ever wondered how much water you can store in a cotton ball coat?

As soon as I saw the title I knew there would be a photo of Q-Tip out in the rain. Of course, I didn’t realize the hu-dad would be standing out in the rain to take pictures.

Too funny(and smart) to have those great places to get away from the rain and yes-I guess Hu-Dad had to stand out in the rain to take those pictures(silly man-lol)!!
