Mowing Weather – For Just A Day

We have had rainy day after rainy day, but finally yesterday gave us a full day of sunshine. Too bad Hu-Dad declared it perfect mowing weather.

I don't like mowing weather.

I don’t like mowing weather.

The look above explains it all. Hu-Dad was mowing the dog lot, looked over to catch Typhoon’s look of disgust, and captured it with his phone. None of the dogs like the stinky, noisy machine clattering around their yard interrupting fun time.

But, Hu-Dad explained, all of the rain was making the grass grow and grow. The yard was so deep that Hu-Dad was having a hard time scanning with a flashlight to make sure no rabbits were hiding in the yard before releasing the dogs. After all, none of us want to see a poor bunny rabbit get hurt, right?

Now I'm really mad.

Now I’m really mad.

Typhoon is so expressive. Not much doubt what’s on his mind, I’m thinking. 😉
