While most of The Herd is made up of happy-go-lucky playful types, we have a couple of older siblings that take on parental worries.
Miss Kiska worries about any creatures that approach our fence and warns them off with a ferocious bark (the only one of us that actually barks much at all). But she also frets about too much running and bouncing (which is why we call her the Fun Police) and whether everyone is participating enough in song time (as our head Choir Mistress who leads Morning Song Time).
Frankie Suave is Mr. Cool and Calm, unless we have loud noises. All rules are off when the sky rumbles or fighter jets roar overhead (we live under a training path). As long as things are quiet, Frankie is monitoring activity outside the fence as well as the Junior Members of The Herd inside the fence.
And who is creating all of the worry today?

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Mom Sez: Wow, it almost seems like all the “young pups” have grown up, matured. Where are all the “goofy puppy antics” that used to be so “frontside”? Frankie (still my favourite), Landon, even Typhoon seem so much more mature “all a’ sudden”! Miss the “puppiness”!
Typhoon is 6 years old. Impossible for us to believe.
Wise Kiska takes her job very seriously. What a great COO.
It’s always great to read about what dog is doing which activity each day!!! So look forward to reading these posts on a daily basis!!!! Have fun doggies!!
But during the brushing, I am sure Typhoon howled up a storm!
Landon is fine with brushing (though not so much sitting still for long). But Typhoon is a whole different story!
