With temperatures that never rose above freezing yesterday, the warm sunshine of the deck made for a terrific napping spot.
Though we sure thought that spring had taken root here (note Landon’s blowing coat), winter has decided to remind us who is in charge of March. Snow flurries fell throughout the morning with more on the way Thursday, though we still are not expecting any significant accumulations. Our temperatures remained below freezing throughout the day and the wind was brisk.
Skiers should be happy. however. We watched as Cataloochee Ski next door blew snow to the top of the mountain. Considering other ski resorts closed down last week for the season, it should be great news that the Cat will be skiing from the top this weekend.
In the meantime, you will find us napping in the sunshine.
