Hu-Dad was busy with a project Friday which prompted us to paraphrase the movie Cool Hand Luke, “What we have here is a failure to entertain.”
A couple of bored office mates.
Hu-Dad worked on a project all morning on his computer. Some sort of busyness thing that apparently required us to be quiet so he could concentrate.
Be quiet? What is the fun in that?
We were excited when that project wrapped up, thinking that games would commence. But – wait for it – he had to leave the house for the afternoon and evening. Holy cow, doesn’t he know his job is to entertain us?
A complaint will be filed.
