Whenever we post a picture of our Chief of Security, we are asked if she needs a spa day. Her wooly coat is quite the challenge to keep tangle-free and looking sharp, so we work on it regularly.
Fortunately, Kiska very much enjoys all of the attention from the dog dryer (Amazon Affiliate Link) to the brush. Her only request is that we avoid hitting any tangles. One tangle and she is done for the day.
Hope you enjoy watching Miss Kiska’s Spa Day!

Requiem for a Rabbit
May 21, 2023
A poor bunny made a bad decision, so I wanted to pay my respects with a requiem for a rabbit. My dogs plotted their own event.
Way Back Wednesday
Each week, we reach back into our vault of over 4,700 previous posts and share a favorite. We hope you enjoy this look back.
I have Poodles and short hair dogs. I had no idea that this happened.
You may have already said, but how long does it take to blow the extra coat out of one dog?
Each session is typically 10-15 minutes, though Cheoah would be happy if it went on all day.
My Molly has the same type of coat, but she is much less cooperative!
I bet she feels ten pounds lighter. lol!
She looks like she’s enjoying it and I imagine the bird nests in your area are well lined and cozy.
And you have SIX of these beautiful dogs!!! Whew!
Hard as I tried I just couldn’t ignore the fur on the nose ???? Oh Miss Kiska… I will never again complain about my Izzy’s blowing coat after seeing how much fur you have! You’re a beautiful lady ????????
I always knew she’d be worse than the normal sibe coat, but I never imagined that bad!
:-O :-O :-O
All. That. Hair.
*lol*
Love this video! Had no idea it was *that* much hair! We always had Standard Poodles. Different type of grooming and combing but the hours clocked-in all the same. But the piles of curly ringlets stayed put and didn’t float in the air. *haha*
