Hu-Dad heard Miss Kiska woo a soft warning. Not one of her “all hands on deck” alarms, but a gentle warning to some distant foe. He stepped to the door and saw her concentrating, so he picked up the camera and took several photographs. She was concentrating so hard, she didn’t hear the camera click and didn’t react to the Hu-Dad’s presence. And then Hu-Dad cleared his throat:
Oh, hi, didn’t see you there.
