Upside Down Working Day

Hu-Dad focused on a timelapse photography project in his study, so Cheoah decided to declare an upside down working day at Chez Herd.

Sunny Sibe Up!

Sunny Sibe Up!

With a deadline looming, Hu-Dad stayed in his study from sunrise to sunset. Well, we did make sure he took some breaks to let us in and out and in and out and in and out plus the obligatory ear scratch breaks. Besides that, he was quite boring. Cheoah decided to take napping to an extreme sport.

It's hard work looking this relaxed.

It’s hard work looking this relaxed.

Cool wood floors. Cool mountain breezes coming through the windows. Ceiling fans adding to the comfort. The only problem is that incessant snapping of the camera.

Go away, Hu-Dad.

Go away, Hu-Dad.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend

June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.

A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.

Enjoy it your way
