Flag On The Play – Cousin Interference

Hu-Dad went across the valley to have dinner with Hu-Grandmom, but we suspect cousin interference based on our sniff investigation.

Spring has sprung around here, so Hu-Grandmom invited the Hu-Dad over for dinner. He claims he just went over for a good dinner on her screened-in porch, but we suspect our cousins received a lot of attention from him.

Based on our inspection upon Hu-Dad’s return, we think he provided our cousins with lots of ear scratches. Those were our ear scratches!

Worse, we suspect that our cousin Ruby even got belly rubs! We have seen her shameless approach for belly rubs and suspect not many people tell her no.

While you are here . . .

Our cousins just claimed too much of his attention! We will have to woo our protests.

Mom sez: Hey, all you Thundering Herd members, I’m sure Ruby and Tartok will never “usurp” your place in the hu-Dad’s life, and I’m betting there’s lots of love to go around. And what better time to share, than Easter!! Remember: You are STILL loved!

Our Mom went over our Aunt’s fir Easter dinner, and we can tell she was definitely petting other dogs! What was she thinking?!?

Happy Easter to the family — Herd and Hu-man. Don’t be upset with Tartok and Ruby looking for attention from Hu-Dad. He has plenty of love to spread and you are the ones he always comes home to. You can allow your cousins a few ear scratches and belly rubs so they know how good you have it. Love to all of you.

Ruby just has that look to her that you can’t resist when she’s laying down. The one that says she knows exactly what she’s doing, and that she knows she’ll get exactly what she wants because of it.

Happy Easter to all of you at the herd and Hu-Grandma’s. I hope you all have a wonderful day. I hope the Ty doesn’t get the Easter Bunny. That’s the one that gives you goodies. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
