Do you remember the old saying that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush? How much are two birds in the S-RV worth?
Hu-Dad is always eager to get on the road early on our last day of vacation. It is a very long drive home and that big RV does not exactly fly up all of the mountains getting us back home. The funny thing is that every single trip seems to have some weird event happen as we are preparing to leave that causes a delay.
This time – birds.
And not just any birds, but two birds who somehow got inside the RV while we were doing our last walk around the campground. There they were flitting back and forth inside the RV. Amazingly, Hu-Dad said we were not being helpful by trying to catch the birds. Like he was being real successful trying to coach them out through one of the doors, but at least it was amusing to watch.
After a bit of work, we were ready for a trip home – six Siberian Huskies, two humans, and zero birds.
P.S. – Please join us as we all woo the Happy Birthday woo to our Hu-Grandmom!
Happy Birthday to woo.

Mama Bear Warning
July 12, 2024
Mama Bear crashed through the underbrush, growling and snorting with her eyes locked on her targets—us. Her warning was clear.
Happy birthday to her from Colorado. Thinking of you all while watching snow accumulate at six inches and counting.
