A year ago, we posted a video that looked very much like today’s, proof that some things do not change even if our Herd does continue to evolve.
We posted just the other day about Landon’s new assigned job of alerting Frankie to rabbits in the lower field. But Landon is not the only little brother following Frankie and learning from him. Typhoon and his mischevious personality continues to follow Frankie and create havoc in the yard.
A year ago today, we shared a video of the terrible trio running around the yard. We shared it yesterday on our social media accounts as a Throwback Thursday, but you can still see it on YouTube by going here.
That video seems so fitting because of the video we compiled for this week’s Film Friday which looks remarkably similar – Some Things Do Not Change.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend
June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.
A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.
Where was Landon, taking a nap?
I was wondering the same thing. He had to be somewhere else, Frankie’s shadow doesn’t disappear for that long!
Boom Boom was inside racing around the house and enjoying furniture olympics.
