Every day, Hu-Dad takes his camera to capture images for our blog. Unfortunately, sometimes we are subjected to unflattering puparazzi photographs.
Yesterday, for example, Cheoah had just completed an exhausting session of sunbeam chasing in the dining room. For those of you unfamiliar with sunbeam chasing, Cheoah started out on one end of the dining room floor stretched out in the sunshine streaming through the window. Periodically, she actually has to get up and move to stay in the sunshine.
The sun had finally moved to a point where the sunbeam was no longer available, so Cheoah had to walk all the way to the couch in the den where she could lay in front of the fire in the fireplace. Then, she had to call Hu-Dad to add a log to the fire so that it was burning at the appropriate level.
We know, exhausting, but remember that we are a working breed.
After all of this tiring work, Hu-Dad captured the following photograph. This sums up our challenge with living with a puparazzi.
Do you see now how rough our life is?

Hurricane Hugo Memories
September 21, 2024
Thirty-five years ago, a massive storm hammered our region and left a path of destruction, leaving us with Hurricane Hugo memories.
All I can say is Cheoah looks adorable.
Cheoah you cannot look anything but gorgeous when the puparazzi take your photo. But, it must be tiring being a star and constantly being followed by the puparazzi, especially when they interrupt your rest after an exhausting day. We love the photos.
It’s an exhausting life Cheoah! I totally understand! Moving sunbeams, unrelenting puparazzi, fast burning logs…. I feel your pain sweetie ❤
I thought the last picture was Cheoah yelling for the Hu-dad to put another log on the fire. After that kind of a workout, you don’t want the athlete to get cold.
Mom sez: Poor Cheoah, showing signs of complete exhaustion, trying to chase down the elusive sunbeams. Oh well, the warm fire is more constant, don’t have to keep moving.
Sweet dreams, Cheoah!
Pay no attention Hu-Dad, the pictures are fine.
