Not even the holidays can prevent a few veterinarian checks – a follow-up exam for Qannik and an eye test for Frankie Suave.
Qannik is proud to report that his weight is down to 59 pounds. And, in a directly related event, his left front leg and paw are showing improvements thanks to laser treatments and pharmaceuticals. If you remember, back before his dietary track issues, we had noticed a limp. The black light examination revealed no significant issues with his eyes – and a funny moment where the dye was coming out of his nose. Sorry, Frankie, for the laugh. We will be applying some antibiotic to his eye for the next few days, but expect it to heal completely.
