Perfect Day For A Fire In The Fireplace

Yesterday was rainy, foggy and cold – a perfect day for a fire in the fireplace. And just in case you thought just the humans believe that . . .

Ah . . . . a fire in the fireplace.

Ah . . . . a fire in the fireplace.

We had well over an inch of rain yesterday. Coupled with the two inches we received earlier in the week (and more coming), we are happy because it is giving the firefighters a chance knocking down all of our wildfires.

And the rain also meant that Hu-Dad was finally comfortable with a fire in the fireplace.

So, cold and rainy outside. Or a toasty warm fire inside. That was not exactly a difficult choice, was it, Cheoah?

And I should be outside why?

And I should be outside why?

A few of you might be interested in stories not involving we canines. Why, we don’t understand, but Hu-Dad does describe his misadventure in gathering firewood for our first fire of the season. Check it out here.
