Ducks geese swimming in Richland Creek

Ducks and geese swimming in Richland Creek

Our favorite local trail meanders beside Richland Creek. The creek is fairly wide and deep with a healthy population of fish and other creatures enjoying the fresh, cold water. That would happen to include a sizeable population of ducks and geese. All we had to do was continue walking along the trail and ignore our fowl friends. How many of our readers think that we accomplished that without any delays?

Mom sez: Judging by the stance, and the curled over the back tails, I’d be willing to bet it was a “slow walk”, and full of “sudden stops”!
