Happy To Be Back To Family Walks

After Qannik’s digestive challenges and Cheoah’s surgery, we are so happy to be back to family walks with all six of us (plus the humans).

Six happy tails on trails.

Six happy tails on trails.

Qannik is still healing, but we seem to have the worst of his digestive issues behind him. He is still on medication and special food. We have a follow-up appointment on Monday and we will begin weaning him back to our regular diet over the next several days. But, as you notice from the picture above, his tail is curled over his back and he is happy to be on trail.

Cheoah has bounced back quickly from her minor surgery on Wednesday to remove several skin growths. We will receive the lab results later this week, but feel good about where we are right now.

Yesterday was the first time that all six of us have been able to walk together in over a week. It might be a fairly short, flat trail, but the fun of being back on the trail together can be summed up with Typhoon’s smile:

So happy to be back on family walks.

So happy to be back on family walks.

Wow we missed so much while having extremely limited internet access since Wednesday. Thank goodness your HuDad keeps all the daily news up so I can go back and read to Koda and Hazel. But not before I get my kisses and snuggles from 2 extremely highly terribly missed babies aka doggies. I’ve been Koda and Hazel free since Wednesday and I’m in terrible withdrawal mode. Thank goodness today is the refilling of my babies kisses and hugs.
