Orange Beast Destroyed Our Basement

A horrible, horrible orange beast invaded Sibe Quentin yesterday and destroyed our basement that we had carefully constructed over the summer.

shock
Cheoah is in shock over the horror.

We have photographs to prove our story, but we caution young children and those with heart conditions to avoid viewing these photographs. The first picture shows the enormous strength of the terrifying orange creature – picking up our picnic table in its claw.

The incredible strength of the monster.
The incredible strength of the monster.

It didn’t stop there. The beast brought dirt and used it to fill our basement.

Even that was not enough. The horrible, horrible invader used its bright yellow tail to pack the dirt down and smooth out the ground – erasing all hint that we had a basement.

Notice Hu-Dad on top of the beast trying to wrestle it to the ground.

Finally, the invader left Sibe Quentin, taking its loud roar with it. Unfortunately, the damage was done. Our basement was gone. Don’t worry, though, Cheoah is already deep in thought planning future excavations.

My poor basement is gone.
I will rebuild.

LOVE this Way Back Wednesday Hu-Dad and the MONSTER filling in the basement! Since the move is there a picnic table for the Sibes to dig out a basement there? Our boy doesn’t dig as much now that he is older BUT oh boy-the holes he used to dig!!!

Looks like the HokiePack needs a big orange beast

Phew! That was close! Ok, Herd time to get busy digging again! Paws up, and ready! Hurry the ground might freeze soon, making your work much more difficult. You want to be ready when the Spring comes again. I suggest a full basement this time…

Mom and Ebby say: As long as there are Siber Yards, there will be basements to build, no worries. And with six of you working on the new basement, shouldn’t take too long. Happy excavating, crew!

LOL. I don’t comment on all your stories but I do read and enjoy every single one. Please don’t stop. Nor use the number of comments as a measure of interest. Cheese does have reinforcements as well as a new understudy in Landon. Dirt diggers anonymous will rule.

Don’t worry tribe you can rebuild
And make it better and deeper so no man nor
Beast can erase the evidence of your hard work

Quite an entertaining story! I am sure Cheoah will devise a plan to correct it.
