Chores around Chez Herd have to be completed, so we believe in a healthy mix of working and playing. The humans work and we play.
Normally, Hu-Dad just lets the fallen leaves rot. With all of the wildfires around us this year, however, he decided to remove the leaves closest to the house. We established our snoozervising positions and let him go to work with a rake and a leaf blower. And being the photography crazy person he is, the whole scene was captured in a time-lapse video.
Once the leaves were raked into a giant pile at the gate, the real fun began. And, yes, Hu-Dad captured that on video, too. So our Film Friday this week is partly a time-lapse of the work and video of our play – the perfect combination.
As you may know, our Hu-Dad maintains two other websites – Conjuring Reality dedicated to short stories not about us and D.K. Wall Photography dedicated to photographs not about us. If you enjoyed the time-lapse portion of the video above, you may also enjoy the time-lapse he posted on the photography website of October scenes around the house. We barely make an appearance (and we do mean only glimpses).
