Landon (aka, Boom-Boom) has been at Chez Herd for four weeks now and only wants to know why Hu-Dad keeps following him around with a clicky thing.
I heard that click.
Yes, Hu-Dad is forever following us or sneaking a look at us while using that funny little picture-taking device. He says the candid shots are the hardest because we always sense the camera and stop being cute. Landon, however, hasn’t quite figured out the clicks.
I heard it again.
Every time he relaxes, Hu-Dad sneaks up and takes another photo.
Again. That crazy clicking sound.
The rest of The Herd does not seem to be in a big hurry to explain it to him. Something about distraction and all of that.
Go ahead, Landon, smile for him. He will focus on you (and not us) for days.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

Mom sez: For not knowing what that “clicky thing” is, at least Landon’s curiosity has him posing beautifully. I absolutely LOVE the first one of him above, with his back turned to the “clicky thing”, but head swiveled to see what hu-Dad is “clicking at” this time. Also shows off his beautiful bushy tail. (Don’t worry, Frankie, I still love you, too!)
