Outtakes From Mr. Photogenic

Hu-Dad asked Mr. Photogenic himself to pose for the blog. Does it surprise you that Qannik clowned around and we have lots of outtakes? The conversation during the photo shoot went something like this:

Glad to help, Hu-Dad. What do you need?
Glad to help, Hu-Dad. What do you need?

Really busy day, Q, so I just need a few photos of you for a blog. Can you give me your Joe Cool look?

Q Cool.
Q Cool.

Amazingly, not what I was looking for. Try to look thoughtful.

I'm thinking hard.
I’m thinking hard.

Hmmm. My mistake. I shouldn’t have asked you about thought.

That's not very funny.
That’s not very funny.

Sorry, dude, didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.

Good luck getting photos now.
Good luck getting photos now.

Come on, Q, I just need a little smile.

Pbbbbbbt.

A little less tongue, Q Dude.

How about now?

Very funny. Hey, wait, I know. I will just do a blog posts of your outtakes. How about that?

You wouldn't dare.

You wouldn’t cooperate. What choice did I have?

Look how I well I pose.

Too late.

I re-read the bios every so often and Q’s made these pictures all the more sweet, considering his previous situation. Eleven years in the Herd was more than he’d probably have gotten anywhere else. His happiness shows.

Great photos! I loved the one where the smallest tip of his tongue was sticking out. Tokyo will do the cutest poses…but turn her head just as the camera takes the picture! I am always impressed by your photos.

Abby was always willing to put up with a little camera time in exchange for snacks, but Fi tends to be of a more “independent mind” (much better than ‘willful’) and unless I catch her in the right mood, she’ll just look away. Daisy, on the other hand, is still too young to know any better, so she hams it up for the camera. (And, of course, I reward this behavior, because it would be nice to have one dog that poses willingly! 🙂 )

Mom ‘n Ebby say: Actually, we didn’t think he did that badly at posing. At least he stayed in one spot for you, hu-Dad!

Q is not known for rapid movement. Just saying.
