Just A Little Walk In The Park

Running errands in Asheville yesterday, so Hu-Dad decided it was a perfect morning for a little walk in the park – Herd style.

Family walk in the park

Amazingly, six Siberian Huskies out for a little family stroll do draw some attention. However, we have one member of The Herd who can’t seem to do anything normally, and he did his absolute best to make sure we were the focus of other visitors.

Yes, of course, Typhoon had to walk backwards much of the way. We have no explanation – and would not attempt one. Just lean back and enjoy his antics. Just your smile for a Monday morning.

It is a special skill.

I have not attempted to take my collies all for a walk at one time. I always split them up, and do 2 or 3 walks. I’m sure if I ever tried to walk them all, we get plenty of strange looks too!
