Zoomies From The Least Likely Subject

Many times, we have posted images and even a video of Typhoon Zoomies. But Hu-Dad caught the least likely subject racing around the yard yesterday.

Queen Natasha zoomies.

Queen Natasha zoomies.

As Natasha’s arthritis has progressed, she has good days and not so good days, though she continues to be in good spirits. Well, good spirits for the Queen. She has always been known for ruling the Herd with an Iron Paw.

Running back up the hill.

Running back up the hill.

Yesterday’s sunny, cool, dry air was perfect weather for her to stroll around the yard. But stroll was simply not enough, so she accelerated and did a couple of laps around the yard. Thirteen years old or not, sometimes it just feels good to let the inner puppy out.

Nice to see her in motion. I’ll bet her smile lasted a while afterward.

Go, Natasha, go! Great actions pics, Hu-dad. Glad to see that she feels up to doing this occasionally.

Our daughter Emily told Koda since he will be 7 in November he will be classified as a senior. He looked right at her as if to say “huh, well the senior class is the new puppy class. And I Don’t have time to be getting old. Thanks now wrestle with me and Hazel”.
As he launched himself from the recliner to the couch with the greatest of ease half on top of Emily.
