We have been wondering about Hu-Dad’s motives behind a certain daily activity, and were wondering if our readers might help enlighten us.
Every day, we have a nice long family walk. We have several possible routes from the house. Down a horse trail to connect to another road which circles back to our road. Through the ski area and coming back through our field. Or across the horse ranch property and back. All are nice, long walks with lots of smells and adventures, but we are wondering something.
You see, we are trying to figure out Hu-Dad’s motives in taking these long walks every day. We get back and try to think about it, but we are too tired to do anything but nap for a while. So if anyone has any idea why he takes us on these long walks, just let us know.

Our mom says she has no clue what your dad might be up to. But like you we’re tired too.

Koda and Hazel
Clearly Hu-dad is doing a study of the surrounding flora and fauna. Now how can that be done without the expert noses in the Sibe Tribe. And you can’t possibly expect him to conduct a study without QNTE growling orders at him can you? I mean he needs directions for proper belly rubs how can he possibly handle something without her???!!!???!
Mom keeps telling us “a tired dog is a good dog”, but we have no idea what that means….

-Fiona and Abby the Hippobottomus
Mom sez: Ice ‘n Ebby and I are wondering if it isn’t because your hu-Dad is in need of more exercise? Do you think THAT could possibly be the reason he takes the Herd on these long, exhausting walks? (tongue in cheek, of course)
