In the continuing winter of really weird weather, we are having a warm spell and rainy weather. The senior team was quite content to curl up in crates and snooze the day away, though a certain Hu-Dad with a camera was interrupting slumber.
The camera snaps, the flash flashes, and the Queen is disturbed. In Her Highness’ usual subtle way, she expressed her displeasure.
Sorry, Your Highness, but just a few pictures for the blog. Is that ok?
Fair enough. Let’s move to the next crate and see if we get a better reception.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Cannot believe you would interrupt a pups’ slumber. Shame on you, Hu-Dad.
Aww, you really do have a look of royal disdain!
But you have the cutest sleepy faces ❤️
Oh to interrupt the Queen’s slumber……..
I feel bad to tell you that we are suppose to get up to a foot or more of snow starting Wednesday thru Thursday. Bruce will enjoy it immensely, but then you guys won’t. We had really warm weather the other day. We had 2 days of 55 degree days and I thought it was glorious. I don’t think Bruce cared either way, but the crazy boy tried to go after a skunk and ended up getting sprayed a little. A little is well enough. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
Our forecast is for “several inches” of snow Thursday night (after a few inches of rain between now and then), but then warm again this weekend. Weird winter.
